Little Britain United Church is a Protestant congregation within The United Church of Canada.
We are a small but active faith community that gathers for worship each Sunday at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome.
We are an Affirming congregation, committed to creating a space where everyone feels respected, valued, and included.
At Little Britain, we offer opportunities for:
Adult study and faith exploration
Pastoral care, visitation, and spiritual support
Fellowship and community connection
We are always exploring new ways to grow together in faith and in community, grounded in God’s love and the world around us.
Our church building is available for:
Weddings
Funerals
Celebrations of life and special gatherings
The sanctuary comfortably seats approximately 100 people, and our hall is also available for rental use.
We strive to be a welcoming and comfortable place to learn, reflect, and seek.
We were pleased to welcome our minister, Rev. Beth McLean, D.M., in November 2018, bringing many years of experience in the Interlake and Western Manitoba regions.
Rev. McLean will be retiring in June, and we give thanks for her dedicated leadership and the care she has shared with our congregation and community.
Little Britain became an Affirming congregation in April 2021.
Being Affirming means we are committed to inclusion and justice for people of all races, ages, abilities, sexual orientations, and gender identities.
Guided by the teachings and ministry of Jesus, we seek to nurture love, justice, and diversity in a safe and respectful environment.
We celebrate the richness of God’s creation and honour each person as they are.
