Who are we?

Little Britain is a protestant church. We are part of The United Church of Canada. We have a small but active congregation that meets Sundays at 10:00 a.m. for worship. We are an affirming congregation.

Little Britain provides opportunities for adult study and care; pastoral visitation; pastoral listening and spiritual support. We’re always looking at more programming and dreaming up new ways of being together, in God’s world. All are welcome!

The church may be booked for weddings, funerals, celebrations and holds approximately 100 folks comfortably. Our hall is available for rental use as well. Little Britain is a comfortable place to learn and seek.

Staff

We welcomed our Minister, Beth McLean D.M., to our congregation on November 1, 2018. Beth joins us with many years of experience in the Interlake and Western Manitoba.

Affirming

Little Britain became an Affirming congregation in April 2021. Being Affirming means that we are committed to inclusion and justice for people of all races, ages, abilities, sexual orientations and gender identities. As a community of faith and action guided by Jesus’ teaching and ministry, we seek to nurture love, justice and diversity in a safe and respectful environment. Just as God rejoices in the goodness and diversity of creation, we too honour and celebrate diversity. You are welcome to join our faith community and walk together with us on a journey of learning, questioning, sharing, growth and love for all people. We respect all who are being true to who God made them. We are all children of God.
